Sustainability
At Jajoo Organics, we encourage organic farming which includes crop rotation, green manure, compost fertiliser, biological pest management, and the cultivation of fertile soil to increase productivity and deliver better results. We also prohibit the use of synthetic fertilisers and pesticides, as well as chemical-based plant growers, feed additives, and genetically modified organisms.
We believe in giving importance to the concept of sustainable living. Thus, we use solar power in our offices and plants to save electricity, cultivate rainwater harvesting, and use electric vehicles for transport to reduce fuel usage and decrease air pollution. This sustainability is applicable to all organic farm communities as well as everyone who is working toward the same goal of reducing human impact on the environment. We also ensure our soil is preserved from erosion by using organic farming methods and encouraging biodiversity among plants, animals, and tiny organisms.
Organic farming also gives lots of opportunities to our farmers to earn their livelihood and create high profits. Since the population all across the globe is getting more and more conscious of food safety due to health risks that some chemically contaminated produce can cause, the demand is much stronger and people are willing to choose organic products over artificially processed ones!
Sustainable living is a way of life that minimises one's impact on the environment by minimising one's use of the planet's natural resources and avoiding further damage. Sustainable agriculture is similar in that it produces better organic food that is not only suitable for human consumption but also beneficial for sustaining a healthy ecology.
